The beautiful, calm views of the river, the trees, and sometimes wandering ducks and geese provide a delightful atmosphere to stimulate conversation. From time to time, we will see a rider on horseback reminding us that we live in the Cowboy Capital of the World.  Families and swimmers are enjoying the morning. When inclement weather arrives, we can head for the shelters provided by the park to finish our conversations. During some of our cold and blistering weather, we may head for a restaurant to find a warm, welcoming refuge and a taco or two.
